This time we want to let you see the progress we have made with Attendance and how it is reported as part of our parental engagement. Our approach is simplicity and ease of use and whenever something looks simple you just know that there is a lot going on ‘under the bonnet’.

In this example, we are showing the statutory attendance for one child as a stacked column chart. By hovering the mouse over each section, the section highlights and displays a tool-tip message to explain this student has attended 35 days out of 35 days this term.
As you can see in the diagram all late registrations, authorised and unauthorised absences are also displayed enabling the parent to see a clear picture and history of attendance.
To the right is a personalised message about the attainment for the student together with a ‘call to action’ advising parents if they should contact school.
