SchoolsICT are active members of the Systems Interoperability Framework Association (SIFA) in the UK. Jeremy Meades is a member of the UK Management Board and Ian Tasker is a member of the UK Technical Board and is the UK Representative for the International Technical Board.
Jeremy Meades – Managing Director

Jeremy taught for 13 years at a successful Community Technology College in the south-east of England. The 2009 OfSTED report declared the college ‘Outstanding’ for the third consecutive time. As an Assistant Head at the college, he aligned strategic planning for ICT and the Next Generation Learning strategies and chaired the school’s New Digital Technologies Group.
He also led the use of Moodle at the College providing a wealth of support and expertise to colleagues developing and evolving their pedagogy to include online learning.
Jeremy was also responsible for managing the strategic development of ICT systems at the college, including the introduction of thin client (Citrix) technology, SAN storage and virtualisation with the goal of implementing robust, reliable, sustainable integrated systems.
During that time he uniquely brought his teaching experience and technical expertise together – a very successful combination which has contributed to a unique approach in blending evolving pedagogy with practical skills that support teachers in their use of learning platforms. His years of experience at leadership level are sought after, particularly where schools seek to develop their own ICT strategies and e-learning pedagogical development.
Ian Tasker – Director of Innovation and Development
Ian’s extensive experience of working with ICT in education gives him a unique insight into the needs of schools. His experience extends across the spectrum of education including primary, secondary, academies, sixth form and local authorities. During that time he has focussed upon the implementation of new and evolving strategies and technologies that support learning.
A ‘Target Data Modelling’ strategy developed by Ian has received praise from a number of different sources including School Improvement Partners. This innovative Model utilises Fischer Family Trust (FFT) data and is a significant tool used by teachers to support learners in schools and academies. The aim being to enable learners not only to achieve their potential but also aspire to excellence.
Ian understands the importance of data and its interpretation in schools today. School leaderships and teachers need to better understand the data that is available to them and as importantly, understand the value of that data when it is readily accessible to key stakeholders within the school. It was in that context that Ian developed SchoolsICT’s first flagship product SIMS2MOODLE.
